Property was not as described and had numerous maintenance, cleanliness, and safety concerns:• Bedroom with no window.• Bedroom windows would not open.• Significant ceiling water damage and hanging drywall.• Cracked floor tiles throughout.• Damaged walls and unfinished repairs.• Garage inaccessible.• Overlook deck dirty and poorly maintained.• No window coverings in front bedroom.• Parking for more than two vehicles is very cramped.• Little to no landscaping/garden area as depicted.• Both gates difficult to open and close.• Garbage disposal inoperable.• Dishwasher inoperable.• No bath mats provided. A family member slipped exiting the shower (no serious injury).• Pool table appears warped.• Towel bars/dowels loose.• Cabinet pulls loose and come off during normal use.• Upstairs bathroom cabinet door detached due to loose hardware.• Damaged/worn cabinetry throughout.• Storage closet overfilled with owner items, limiting guest use.The most disappointing part was the response to these concerns. Rather than addressing the documented maintenance and safety issues, the discussion shifted to accusations and assumptions about our intentions. We documented our concerns with photographs and communicated them respectfully. Future guests should carefully review the listing and ask questions regarding the condition, functionality, and availability of amenities before booking.
