Kayaking from The Hollows

On property

Both the Long Hollow Kayak Club and the Beach Club Kayak Club provide direct Lake Travis launch access. No reservation required. Walk to the dock and launch. The protected coves near both clubs are calm in the mornings and ideal for beginners.

Boating on Lake Travis

The Hollows does not rent boats directly. Contact Liquid Thrillz at 512-267-7530 (liquidthrillz.com) for boat, pontoon, and watercraft rentals on Lake Travis. NorthShore Marina on property has 328 covered slips for guests who bring their own vessel.

Swimming

On property

Beach Club pools — infinity pool, children's pool, spa pools, and hot tub — are open year-round with heated water. Lake Travis swimming is available from the Kayak Club launches.

Pickleball and Volleyball

Beach Club courts at The Hollows. Pickleball is extremely popular with extended stay guests — multiple games typically run daily in the afternoons.

Fifteen miles of paved and native-surface trails connect every corner of The Hollows. Cedar shade. Live oak canopy. Hill Country views. Golf carts available to rent for longer routes.

Texas's only officially clothing-optional public park — approximately 15 minutes from The Hollows on Lake Travis. A local landmark worth knowing about.

Pedernales Falls State Park

Hamilton Pool Preserve

Austin is 30 miles away. The Hill Country wine country is 45–90 minutes. San Antonio is 90 minutes. The Hollows is a base — not a destination that requires you to stay on property.
