The Hollows is not a hotel. It is a neighborhood of privately owned homes and villas set on 1,400 acres of Hill Country above Lake Travis, with the amenities of a full resort: the Beach Club, resort pools, a marina, a spa and more than ten miles of trails. Staying in one of our homes gives you a full kitchen, private bedrooms and room to spread out, with the same Beach Club access as any resort stay.

Hill Country Lakes Rentals is based on the North Shore and manages these homes day to day, so the people answering your questions are the same people who look after the house you book.

The Hollows is a 1,400-acre gated resort community in Jonestown, Texas 78645, on the North Shore of Lake Travis, roughly 40 minutes northwest of Austin. The gates are on Destination Way off TX-1431. It is in Jonestown, not Spicewood, Lago Vista or Point Venture.
Yes. Every vacation rental we manage in The Hollows comes with community amenity access for registered guests, including the Beach Club, resort pools, marina and trails.
All of our Hollows homes are within 1 to 1.5 miles of the pools and resort restaurant: about a 5-minute drive or a short golf cart ride along the resort trails.
Yes. Golf carts are a separate add-on: a 4-seat cart is $125/day and a 6-seat cart is $150/day, with a 2-day minimum. We deliver and pick up the cart. See our Golf Cart Rentals page for details.
Pet policy varies by home. Use the Pets filter above to see the pet-friendly homes; if a listing says no pets, that means no pets.
Check-in and check-out times vary by home. Each property page and your booking confirmation list the exact times for the home you reserve. There is no key pickup: you receive a personal door code before arrival.
