No. Villa Antonia is an event venue without guest lodging. Its own website points guests to its preferred vendors list and to hotels in Cedar Park, about 10 miles away.

Can we have the rehearsal dinner or an after party at the rental?

No. The homes are lodging only. Jonestown's short-term rental rules prohibit weddings, receptions and parties at rental homes. A family breakfast at the house the next morning is exactly what they are for.

Where to Stay for a Villa Antonia Wedding in Jonestown

Villa Antonia is one of the best-known wedding venues on the North Shore of Lake Travis: a hilltop estate in Jonestown with room for up to 175 guests. What it does not have is anywhere for those guests to sleep.

The short answer: stay at The Hollows Resort, about 15 minutes from the venue. We host Villa Antonia wedding guests and wedding parties there all the time.

Why not a hotel?

Jonestown has no hotels. Villa Antonia’s own website points guests to hotels in Cedar Park and at The Domain, a long drive back after the reception on dark, winding Hill Country roads, and several separate hotels if the families do not fit in one.

A home nearby fixes all three: a short drive, everyone under one roof, and a kitchen for the morning after.

Where to stay

Hill Country Lakes Rentals manages casitas, villas and full homes there, from a couple’s getaway to a house for the whole family. Homes are close together, so the bridal party, the groomsmen and both families can stay within a short walk of each other.

Tips from the weddings we have hosted

Book early. Spring and fall are wedding season, and the homes closest to the venue go first.
Stay two nights. Arriving Friday and leaving Sunday means no one drives home tired after the reception.
Plan the shuttle. Villa Antonia’s roads are rural. A shared shuttle from The Hollows keeps everyone safe after the last dance.
Lodging only. Rehearsal dinners, after parties and receptions belong at the venue, not the rental: Jonestown’s rules do not allow them, and we enforce that.
